This is a run on the Cedarock Park Mountain Bike Trail. The loop is around a mile, so you will want to do multiple laps. If you cut through the center of the loop, you will find an old set of pull-up bars--I like to stop and do 5-10 pull-ups before continuing my run.

This run is an out and back that combines greenway (1.6 miles) and pasture. I did two laps around Merritt's on this run. It is, approximately, .5 miles around the perimeter of the pasture. Except for a moderate climb up the pasture, this run is relatively flat, so I'm rating it as easy.

Short loop in Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area. Pretty nice park once you get out of earshot of the interstate. The section along the Eno River is particularly cool. Nice rolling trail, that is moderatly rugged, roots rocks etc... I ran slashed walked this one with my new Merrell Boots and a 25 lb pack, cant wait till the summer to incoporate this trail into my workout....

This is the updated bridal trail in the Paul Yost section of JMF. To sum it up in a couple of words... it is AWESOME. Smooth wide with short rolling hills and tight turns, interspersed with a couple of long hills nothing steep in relation to other trails found at JMF.

Morning trail run with Brad Snyder. Ran from the Welcome center to High Knob on the siltstone. Was pretty chilly 40 degree weather but we warmed up quickly at the first hill.

One of the park's most scenic and underused trails. Turn left past Reedy Creek Lake and take the second right onto Graylyn. Graylyn cuts right through the center of the Sycamore loop. You can often run the entire loop and not see a single person. For a more challenging climb, run the Sycamore Trail clock-wise. Most of all, have fun!

This is an out and back on the Umstead State Park multi-purpose trails from the Reedy Creek parking lot to the airport overlook. If you hang out at the overlook for awhile, you will see an occasional helicopter or small plane.
